A number of years ago, I investigated the possibility of erecting solar panels on my farm. I talked with reps from the Co-op and was discouraged from installing solar panels. Recently, the Co-op has taken a more positive attitude about solar panels. They have a demonstration solar array at the headquarters, and have been encouraging installation of panels. I was at Ziegler Ag the other day, and saw that they have an impressive solar panel array. I am very encouraged by their positive position on solar. Unfortunately, I am at an age where an investment in solar panels will not be as attractive as it was a number of years ago.
